The purpose of the program educate electroneurophysiology technicians using neurophysiological methods needed for analysis of cognitive and behavioral functions in brain and determination of the diseases constituted by distruption of these functions via supervision of specialist doctors.
It is aimed to train qualified individuals aware of the continuous change and development brought by the information society, who respects human rights, closely follow the scientific developments, and innovative.
Our students do internship which lasts for 30 working days, so they can reinforce their theoretical information with practical experiences, recognize their working field and make acquainted with their future co-workers.
Electroneurophysiology technicians perform electroneurography, electroencephalography, polysomnography and evoked potential studies, develop the examination protocols according to the data obtained and discuss the results with the physician. They support the physician during electromyography and intraoperative monitoring applications.
Graduates of this program can work electroencephalography, evoked potentials and sleep units of polyclinics in public or private hospital via supervision of neurology, otorhinolaryngology, psychiatry, pediatrics, chest diseases and physiology specialists. In addition, they can work in scientific researches supported by national and international funds in universities as electroneurophysiology technicians.
