VII. INTERNATIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL SYMPOSIUM

On October 16-18, 2018, the Symposium “The Impact of Change and Development on Information Technologies in Professions” was organized in Baku, Azerbaijan. Roza SÜLEYMANOĞLU DİNÇER, the Head of the Social Services Program and Fatma UYAR, lecturer of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program attended the seminar.  The study called "The Effect of Student Centered Approach on Vocational Development in Vocational Schools" was presented in this symposium. The structure of traditional teaching approach which does not consider individual differences was discussed. In addition, in this study, the positive and negative results of the student-centered approach, which was the learning approach in which the learners were active in the learning process and directed by their own learning, were evaluated.
