Program Objectives
The aim of this program Is to train audiometry technicians who will apply tests to determine the level of hearing and provide data to Ear Nose Throat physicians to aid in determining the diagnosis and treatment of ear diseases. Graduates of the program can do audiometric investigations to help patients to use hearing aids prescribed by ENT specialists. Our students do internship which lasts for 30 working days, so they can reinforce their theoretical information with practical experiences, recognize their working field and make acquainted with their future co-workers.
Career Opportunities
Audiometry graduates will work in audiology clinics or in public or private hospitals, under the supervision of an expert or ear, nose and throat disorders specialist,. They can also work at obstetric clinics, schools, and may work with new born babies, for hearing tests and hearing screening.
Vertical Transfer Opportunities
Graduates of this program can transfer to Physics, Physics engineering, Optical and Acoustic Engineering, Audiology, Hearing Impaired Teaching undergraduate programs.
