Erasmus

The Erasmus+ program is an European Union program carried out by the Turkish National Agency, aimed at encouraging higher education institutions to cooperate with each other. The Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes (National Agency) ensures the communication of the European Commission with the universities holding an ECHE in Türkiye. To contribute to the individuals benefiting from the exchange, the European Commission also provides financial support for the exchange by providing grants to students. Every university in Türkiye included in the Erasmus exchange program requests a grant from the National Agency based on the number of all candidate Erasmus students selected for the next academic year. The National Agency evaluates the grant requests from all Turkish universities and transfers them to the European Commission.
