Program Objectives

Unmanned vehicles (UAVs, ICAs, and ISEAs), a rapidly rising trend in today's technology, are leading to revolutionary changes in the defense industry, logistics, agriculture, mapping, search and rescue, entertainment, and many other areas. The primary objective of the unmanned vehicle technician program is to train qualified technical personnel with the knowledge and skills to design, manufacture, assembly, maintenance, repair, and operational use of unmanned vehicle systems.

Graduate Work Areas
Because unmanned vehicle technologies (drones, unmanned land and sea vehicles, etc.) are rapidly developing and integrated into many industries, there are a wide range of work opportunities for unmanned vehicle technician associate degree graduates. These graduates can work in the maintenance, repair, assembly, testing, and operational processes of unmanned vehicles.
