The mission of the School of Advanced Vocational Studies is to provide accessible, student-centered academic and personal enrichment opportunities to enhance lifelong learning through ECTS system with our vocational programs. The School of Advanced Vocational Studies mission is about student learning and how we can improve it.

School of Advanced Vocational Studies and staff will provide a well-rounded curriculum and a positive learning environment that enables students to develop their potential and become competent, productive citizens in our society.

The faculty at School of Advanced Vocational Studies will provide to all students a learning environment that will allow all students the opportunity to achieve their personal best. We believe our purpose is to promote cooperation, foster a good self-concept, and encourage lifelong learning in an ever-changing world.

Our lecturers hold MSc or PhD degrees from national or foreign universities and some of them are PhD candidates. Our faculty members are reinforced by lecturers who come from industry and they can transfer current business experiences to our students.

The course curriculum is updated often that we can offer contemporary courses to our students. Every course is specially design for the needs of the business environment. Current computer programmes, theoretical knowledge and latest regulations in different business groups are thought.

Instructor Şenay Yenigün presented her academic studies orally at the Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics Conference in the USA

Şenay Yenigün who is academician at Dogus University,  presented on June 10 through 13 in 2018, “Importance of Automatization on Dry Funnel Deposited Specimens for Liquefaction Testing’’ and “Evaluation of the Effect of Relative Density on Liquefaction Assessment of Sands with Plastic and Non-Plastic Fines” academic studies which were published by Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics Conference.
