BOF Hotels Ziyareti – Sektör–Akademi İş Birliğinde Yeni Adımlar

Doğuş Üniversitesi Meslek Yüksekokulu olarak, BOF Hotels’in otel müdürü, insan kaynakları uzmanı ve ön büro müdürünü üniversitemizde ağırladık. Gerçekleştirilen bu ziyaretin temel amacı, otelcilik sektörünün disiplinler arası yapısını merkeze alarak Meslek Yüksekokulu bünyesindeki tüm programların bu yapının doğal bir parçası olduğunu vurgulamak ve sektör–akademi iş birliğini güçlendirmekti.

Protokol kapsamında yapılan görüşmelerde; otel yönetimi ve eğitim uzmanlarının öğrencilerle bilgi paylaşımı, akademisyenlerimizin otel operasyonlarına danışmanlık desteği sunması ve disiplinler arası uygulama alanlarının geliştirilmesi yönünde ortak adımlar değerlendirildi.

Ziyaretin ardından Turizm ve Otel İşletmeciliği Programı uygulama alanı gezilerek geleceğin turizmine yönelik yenilikçi eğitim yaklaşımları üzerine fikir alışverişinde bulunuldu.

Meslek Yüksekokulu Müdürlüğü tarafından model edilen bu toplantı, eğitim ve sektörü daha etkileşimci ve sürdürülebilir bir zeminde buluşturan değerli bir adım olmuştur.

BOF Hotels Visit – Strengthening the University–Industry Collaboration

As Doğuş University Vocational School, we had the pleasure of hosting the Hotel Manager, Human Resources Specialist, and Front Office Manager of BOF Hotels on our campus. The main purpose of this visit was to emphasize the interdisciplinary structure of the hospitality sector and to highlight how all programs within the Vocational School are integral parts of this structure, aiming to further strengthen university–industry collaboration.

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol, the discussions focused on sharing sectoral knowledge with students by hotel management and training experts, providing consultancy support from our academics to hotel operations, and developing interdisciplinary practice areas.

Following the meeting, the Tourism and Hotel Management Program’s application area was visited, and ideas were exchanged on innovative educational approaches for the future of tourism.

This meeting, modeled by the Vocational School Directorate, represents a valuable step toward a more interactive and sustainable collaboration between education and the industry.
